Giving Back
My first gardens were grown on a tight budget, and even then, costs added up quickly. With time and experience, I’ve learned how to create bigger, better gardens for much less. While these types of gardens may not have a “designer” look, they do what gardens are meant to do—grow nourishing produce and provide a peaceful space.
I want everyone to have a garden, and I’m passionate about sharing the lessons I’ve learned about gardening on a budget with those who need it most.
One way I do this is by offering free or at-cost garden consulting, coaching, and installation for families, seniors, veterans, and others facing financial challenges. I provide guidance on creating simple, affordable, DIY vegetable gardens to reduce food costs and empower others to grow their own nourishing produce.
